Questions people ask
Is this official WhatsApp?
Yes. The desk uses Meta's official WhatsApp Business Platform (Cloud API). You connect your number through Meta's own setup, and messages go through Meta's servers.
Will my number get banned?
The official API is the approved way for businesses to automate WhatsApp. Bans usually come from unofficial tools or spam. Follow Meta's rules: message people who contacted you or agreed to hear from you, and use approved templates for broadcasts. The desk respects “STOP” requests automatically.
Can I keep using WhatsApp on my phone?
Usually yes. Meta lets many numbers stay on the WhatsApp Business app while also using the API (called “coexistence”). Your phone replies show up in the desk, and the AI steps back for that chat. If Meta doesn't support it for your number, we'll guide you through the options.
What if the AI makes a mistake?
Start in Draft mode: every reply waits for your approval, and your edits teach it. Even later, payments, refunds, complaints and anything it is unsure about are always held for you. It only uses facts you give it, and never promises results.
What does each message cost?
Our plan covers the desk and the AI replies in your plan. Meta charges separately, per delivered message: template messages (broadcasts, reminders) are billed, and replies within 24 hours of a customer's message are free for the first 1,000 per number each month. Chats that start from your Click-to-WhatsApp ads get a free window. The desk shows how many free replies you have used. Check Meta's pricing page for current rates.
Do I need a website?
No. A WhatsApp Business number and a Meta (Facebook) business account are enough. If you do have a website, its enquiry form can send leads straight into the desk.
Does it understand Hindi and Hinglish?
Yes. It replies in the language the client uses: Hindi, Hinglish or English. Most Indian chats mix them, and it handles that naturally.
Can my team use it?
Yes. Add team members by plan, assign chats, leave internal notes and see each person's response times.
